Meet the Dreamland Entertainment Team
Owner and Operator
Cara McGarrah
Cara McGarrah began her company, Dreamland Entertainment, in 2018, but her passion for event entertainment began over a decade ago! Cara started her career in children's entertainment as a party princess performer. From there, she learned more skills, such as interactive deejaying and stilt walking, to become one of Houston's top event performers!
Cara McGarrah received her Bachelor's from the University of Texas at Austin with an honors degree in psychology and a minor in elementary education. During her college years, she performed at various venues in Austin, sang and choreographed for the UT show choir, The Longhorn Singers, and participated in upper-division courses in the UT musical theater department.
Cara McGarrah is a Houston native with roots in the Houston musical theater scene. She grew up in the Humphrey School of Musical Theater and performed at TUTS, Main Street Theater, and other venues around town.
When she isn't running her company or performing, Cara spends most of her time enjoying the company of her husband and three amazing kids!
Based on her experience in the industry, Cara created Dreamland Entertainment with the goal of cultivating meaningful relationships with her performers and clientele to connect the very best that Houston has to offer with our deserving Houston family!
